A LOCAL company subcontracted by MRP to construct five buildings under the Namibia-German special programme (NGSIP) at Otjiuaneho Primary School is accusing the contractor of refusing to pay N$1,2 million for work done.
Obedient Investment was in 2013 subcontracted by MRP to construct five buildings that comprise of two hostel blocks, a teacher’s flat, a kitchen dining hall, an elevated water tank structure, and a septic tank at an amount of N$1,8 million that the latter repeatedly refused to settle.
Managing Director of Obedient Investment, Patrick Bathromeus accused MRPof being in “endless meetings, driving out or always too busy to attend to their concerns” and for deliberately promising to address the matter but never doing so.
