CONTROVERSIAL boxer and former World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa Super Middleweight title holder, Wilberforce ‘Black Mamba’ Shihepo, has been dragged to court by a medical doctor he allegedly brutally assaulted earlier this year, demanding an estimated N$165 000 in damages.
So vicious was the attack that his victim, Dr Takura Razemba, was hospitalised for at least three weeks receiving medical treatment for wounds sustained to his face, neck, chest and back.
Shihepo, who worked for the Office of the Prime Minister, had his combined summons placed in the local media as his whereabouts are reportedly unknown.
According to the summons, Shihepo on March 27 reportedly attacked Razemba in public in the Windhoek city centre, by punching and kicking him specifically to the face, neck, chest and back. A criminal case was subsequently laid against Shihepo on CR923/03/2015 at the Windhoek Police Station.
