Former Brave Warriors player Razundara Tjikuzu said the national senior team has a number of quality players who can upset their opponents during the COSAFA Castle Cup campaign.

In an interview with Confidente, Tjikuzu said head coach Ricardo Mannetti’s charges have the talent and skill to successfully defend their title.

“The Brave Warriors have the home advantage and I am confident that the football fans will rally behind the national side,” he stressed.

He said the crop of players currently in the training camp have played at that level last year and can give a good account of themselves.

The Brave Warriors are scheduled to take on neighbouring Botswana in their quarter final clash this Saturday at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.

On the issue of goalkeeper Virgil Vries and defender Chris Katjiukua the pint-sized Tjikuzu condemned the way-ward behaviour of the players but was quick to advise the management to get to the bottom of the matter.

Mannetti is yet to announce his final team for the COSAFA showdown.
