It’s all systems go for 081Every1 Fest

EASILY one of the most anticipated  events on this year’s calendar, the 081Every1  Fest is set to be the biggest entertainment  show to ever be hosted in Namibia.  This is according to MTC’s Chief Human  Capital and Corporate Affairs, Tim Ekandjo,  who earlier this week said that everything is in  place and MTC Namibia is ready to entertain  the nation.  “This show is all for a good cause. It is  the most affordable concert in Namibia, seeing  that there will be a star studded line-up”,  Ekandjo said. The line-up for the festival includes  a galore of A-list local and African acts.  Ekandjo added that because the festival is  expected to draw a considerable number of  music lovers, a strong police contingent will  be deployed complimented by capable private  security companies, to ensure individual security  and those of cars.  “We want people to come and enjoy without  having to worry about neither their safety  nor the security of their vehicles. We are thus  looking at having at least four capable local  security companies, the City Police Crime  Prevention Unit, City Police Traffic Unit to  manage and coordinate traffic movement in  the vicinity of the stadium, and the Namibian  Police Force as well as the Drug Squad,”  Ekandjo continued.  Although the tickets will not be available at  the gates, there will be an MTC truck selling  tickets around the vicinity of the Dr Sam Nujoma  Stadium.
