Khorixas Council blows half a million on house renovation, sells to ex-CEO for N$68 000

THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is investigating the Khorixas Town Council for allegedly selling one of its properties renovated at N$500 000 for a mere N$68 000 to a former chief executive officer, Confidente has learnt. Confirming the matter, ACC deputy director Erna van der Merwe said that while investigations are at a preliminary stage, they are looking at allegations that council sold the property without advertising as required by the local authority governing
