Donors’ withdrawal threatens Hope Village

WINDHOEK’S well-known orphanage, Hope Village that hous­es nearly 100 orphans and vulnerable children is on the verge of closure after donors that have been funding its opera­tions recently withdrew their support owing to economic hardships.
This has led to the orphanage’s found­er, Maritjie De Klerk reaching out to poten­tial donors to assist with money that will be used to pay utility bills as well as living expenses amongst other every­day basic necessities for children stretching from newly-born babies to 20 year-olds.
