Few female candidates on Swapo’s RC list

IN the just ended Swapo primary elections, only a few female candidates were voted to stand as candidates in the upcoming November 27 regional and local authority elections.In 2013 Swapo amended its constitution to pave the way for the implementation of the 50/50 representation of women in its structures – which means the party’s key structures will be compelled to have the 50/50 blend of men and women.
