PSEMAS starts on clean page

…Opens up to new agreements

THE Ministry of Finance says it has started the process of signing new agreements with healthcare ser­vice providers that wish to be contracted by the Public Service Medical Aid Scheme (PSEMAS).
The signing of new agreements was introduced last year follow­ing a N$125 million bill submit­ted by health service providers to the parastatal which led to the finance ministry setting up a committee to investigate the claims it believed a majority were fraudulent.
