Hanse-Himarwa vows to reset education foundation

… Says early childhood development was left in untrained hands since independence

EDUCATION, Arts and Culture Minis­ter, Katrina Hanse-Himarwa, says the commercialisation of early childhood development (ECD) has impacted negative­ly on the country’s education system, and has seen untrained people taking responsi­bility to teach the Namibian child the skills that lay the foundation for their success or failure in the formal schooling system.
