SIX Swapo Party councillors in Omusati region suffered defeat in the party’s primary elections last week, a move that spells the end of their tenures within their constituencies.
Abast Ipinge of Ruacana constituency lost to Ruacana town council mayor Andrew Shintana while Anamulenge constituency councillor Fidelis Sheyapo lost to the first Principal of Canisianum Roman Catholic high school Werner Kalipi.
