SPWC ropes in lawyers to tackle sexual harassment

THE Swapo Party Women Council (SPWC) is in con­sultation with Namibian fe­male lawyers to investigate, as well as research, incidents of sexual ha­rassment against women in the Na­mibian Police Force, the Ministry of Defence and society as a whole.
SPWC Secretary, Eunice Iipinge, told Confidente this week that the issue of sexual harassment against women forms part of the women wing’s resolutions that will be thoroughly addressed.
